Replacement of large Moisture Steam Reheater (MSR) equipment at the Almaraz Nuclear Power Plant in Cáceres and Vandellós II in Tarragona (Spain). These units are crucial for removing moisture and reheating steam from the first turbine stage, improving cycle efficiency when re‑injecting it into the second stage. The operation involves removing two large units and installing new units of similar size, also sectioned and subsequently welded. Piping lines and associated supports at the inlet and outlet of these units were adapted as well.
